Date of entry into force: 1 February 2018 Thank you for choosing Numerilife!
We explain here how we collect, use, and process your information when you use our websites, software, and services (hereinafter the "Services").
Data collected and reasons for this collection
We collect and use the following information to ensure, improve and protect our Services:
Account-We collect and link to your account information such as your name, email address, phone number, mailing address and account activity. Some of our services may provide access to your accounts and information from other service providers.
Services-Our services are designed to allow you to store your files, collaborate with other users and work on multiple devices with ease. To make this possible, we store, process, and transmit your data (such as your files, messages, comments, and photos), as well as related information. These can be your profile information, which makes it easier to collaborate and share files with other users. Our services offer you different sharing options.
You may decide to grant us access to your contacts so that we can more easily share files, collaborate, send e-mails, and invite others to use our Services. If so, we store your contacts on our servers for you to use.
Use-We collect information about how you use the Services, including information about what you do in your account (sharing, editing, viewing, and moving files or folders).
We also collect information from and about the devices you use to access the Services. These include the IP addresses, the type of browser and device you use, the web page you visited before coming to our site, and the credentials associated with your devices. Depending on the settings of your devices, they may also transmit geolocation data to the Services.
Sharing collected data
We may share information as described below, but we do not sell it to advertisers or other third parties.
Other users-Our Services make information such as your name, profile image and email address visible to other users, including your user profile and share notifications.
Some features also allow you to make other information accessible.
Public security-We may disclose your information to third parties if we believe that this is reasonably necessary to (a) comply with the law; (b) protect any person against serious bodily injury or death; (c) fight against fraud or harm to Numerilife or our users; or (d) protect the ownership rights of Numerilife.
We place great importance on the proper management of your data and take full responsibility for it. We are convinced that users' data must be afforded the same legal guarantees, whether they are stored on our Services or on the hard disk of their personal computer. We adhere to the principles of authority requests when we receive, review, and respond to our users' requests for data access (including national security requests):
• To be transparent
• Fight against untargeted demands
• Protect all users
• Guarantee the security of the services provided
Security-We have a dedicated team that secures your information and looks for potential vulnerabilities. We already offer two-step verification, encrypting stored files, and sending alerts when new devices and apps are associated with your account. We are also constantly working on new features to ensure the security of your information.
Retention of information-We keep the information you store on our Services if it is necessary for the proper functioning of the Services. If you delete your account, we also delete that information. Please note the following: (1) Deleting this information on our servers and backup storage systems may take some time; and (2) we may retain this information, if necessary, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. You can access your personal data by logging into your Numerilife account.
Whole world-In order to deliver our Services, we may store, process, and transmit information in Canada, the United States, Europe and at various locations around the world, including outside your country. Data may also be stored locally on the devices you use to access the Services.
In case of reorganization, merger, acquisition or sale of our goods, your information may be transferred as part of this operation. We will notify you (by sending a message to the email address associated with your account, for example) such transactions and we will tell you which options are available to you.
